Business Development Manager - Sales based in Sydney, Melbourne Perth

The key responsibilities for this role include: 

  • Implementing the agreed sales strategies to ensure ongoing growth for both new and existing accounts. 
  • Facilitating informative and interesting product presentations to new and existing clients 
  • Achieving KPI's whilst maintaining relevant administration and adhoc requirements for compliance to business structure.  
  • Work towards achieving goals and thus, resetting the annual territory sales budget for continued success year upon year.

To be successful for this Role, we will be seeking the following skills, attributes and successes:

  • A proven track record in business development or territory management, demonstrating your ability to secure now business and grow accounts 
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proven track record of maintaining strong client relationships 
  • Dynamic personality with a strong drive to reach decision makers for results!

  • Be able to work autonomously and manage a large territory 
  • Be professional in presentation and communication 
  • Be IT savvy and competent in MS Office Suite

The key responsibilities for this role include: 

  • Attend to incoming sales enquiries and requests for pricing from customers and prospects
  • Outbound calls to existing clients, new warm contacts or cold calls 
  • Follow up leads and conduct prospect relationships to advance sales opportunities 
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead generation, book and assign incoming leads to the BDM's 
  • Support and back up the sales team 
  • Deal with all customer order enquiries 
  • Set appointments and manage calendar for BDM's 
  • Prepare and follow up on proposals 
  • Process orders into MYOB 
  • Prepare sales material for BDM's 
  • Generate and distribute sales reports, sales forecasts, sales results and KPI's 
  •  To be successful for this Role you must have the following: 
  • 1 -3 years’ experience in telemarketing and/or inside sales experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas 
  • well organised and responsible with an aptitude in problem solving 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proven track record of maintaining strong client relationships 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite 
  • Strong experience using CRM software and MYOB 
  • Team player with high level of dedication 
  • Highly motivated and positive self-starter 
  • Dynamic personality with a strong drive to reach decision makers
